Every product we review is bought anonymously from ordinary shops, such as a chemist, Boots, Superdrug, Marks & Spencer beauty halls, Look Fantastic or Amazon.co.uk, exactly as any reader would buy it. Nobody pays for a place in our pages, we accept no free samples for review purposes, and we sell nothing ourselves.
How our findings are checked
Before anything is published, our test methods and conclusions are reviewed by our Scientific Advisory Panel, an independent group that includes a dermatological research scientist and consultant dermatologists.
